Preemie

15" square - 24" square

Isolette covers - usually quilted to keep out

the light = 36" sq. Baby

30" x 36" = crib sized

(6" squares= 5 across x 6 down ~ 30 sq)

 

Car Seat Blankie

16" x 22"

Children

42"x 48"

(6" squares= 7 across x 8 down ~ 30 sq)

Lapghan

often used in seniors homes

36"x48"

(6" squares= 6 across x 8 down ~ 48 squares)

Adult Afghan

48" x 72" = twin sized.

(6" squares= 8 across x 12 down ~ 96 squares

Hospital Needs

St luke is starting to give memory boxes and prayer shawls to mothers who have a stillborn baby.

The items needed are;

Small Baby Blankets,

Caps, Booties, Burial Wraps, Burial gowns( for girls and boys).

And Prayer Shawls for the mothers.

 

Please send what ever you can for this get cause.

it is a good afghan to make using your scrap yarns.

It gives different pictures of the afghan using different colors of yarn.

This afghan is made with little square.

It is easy to do  It even tells you how to change colors if you want to use two or three

color squares.

This is different than the Bearghan.

This is the cutest afghan that I have ever seen.

It even has the bear face.

It is fairly easy to make.
You can do it with large squares or small squares.

It tells you where to go for the different squares used in the pattern.

here is a lapghan pattern that has a crochet and knit version.

it is a level 1 which means beginners can do it.

the crochet version uses the following stitchs:

 chains, double crochet , and slip stitch.
